Mrs. Collette, Ms. Enns, and Mr. Strnad took their classes over to fairgrounds today to wrap up some painting in the top of Floral Hall. Love that we had so many helping hands to help with this community service project today!










Mrs. Strnad took a crew over to Munden today to do some community service, and start a mural in the park. Student Eliza Anderson used AI to help design the mural. students should be able to wrap up the work with one or two more days! Thanks city of Munden for the cookies, photos, and hospitality today!

RCHS Lady Buffs softball falls to Doniphan West in the first round of the Class 2A Regional at Onaga. It was a scoreless game for the first several innings. Doniphan West scored first only to have the Lady Buffs storm back to tie the game 3-3. The game ended with Doniphan West leading 7-3. Thank you to our Seniors for an exciting year of softball, Go Lady Buffs!

The Buffalo baseball season wrapped up in Salina with a tough loss to Sacred Heart, 15-0. While it’s not the ending we hoped for, we're proud of the hard work and dedication shown by our players throughout the year.
A big thank you to our coaches for their time, leadership, and commitment to this team.

Republic County Junior High will be offering the Summer Robotics and STEM camp again. The camp is two weeks, Monday through Thursday, Starting June 2nd. The camp will be in the robotics room at the high school. This camp is for students currently in 5th through 8th grade. The students will be both basic and advanced block coding techniques along with robotics and basic AI. All ability levels are welcome.

What a day at the High School NCAA League Track Meet at Beloit, a ton of individual accomplishments and PRs. Girls finished in 6th and the Boys were 4th. On to Regionals next Thursday at Hill City, Go Buffs!
The 7th Grade girls came home as the NCAA JH League Champs today scoring 149.50 points. The 8th Grade girls finished 6th with 31 points, 7th Grade boys finished 3rd with 69 points, and the 8th Grade Boys were 6th with 70 points. Overall an incredible day for the Junior Buffs!

Congratulations to Matthew Collette for being selected as the April Student of the Month. The Buffalo Herd members are Julian Swank, Jasmine Rabah, Breken Gaither, John Primeaux, Grady Siemsen, Traven Allen, and Ethan Torres.


The Republic County Golf Team traveled to Minneapolis for the League Tournament today and placed 3rd as a team. Individually, Kaden Novak placed 6th with a 79, and Benedict Baxa placed 10th with an 84. Go, Buffs!

The Lady Buffs Softball team fell to the Ellsworth Lady Bearcats in the second game of the doubleheader, giving up 2 runs in the bottom of the seventh. Lady Buffs scored a lot of runs in both games , just couldn't shut down the Lady Bearcats. Next game will be at Regionals next Monday in Onaga.
The third leg of the JV Golf triangular was held in Concordia, today. The scoring was a whole team effort. They averaged the top 3 scores for each tournament and The Buffs won by 2 strokes. We are the Champions of the triangular between Concordia, Clifton-Clyde, and REPCO JV. Go Buffs!

The Lady Buffs drop their 1st game to Ellsworth 13-9. Jacqalyn and Avery both hit over the fence home runs in the 1st game!!

Congratulations to these awesome Seniors! Today they completed the rigorous AP Calculus Exam. Following tradition, they inscribed their names on the prestigious AP Calculus wall. If you see these graduates around this summer be sure to tell them, job well done.

East Elementary Fun Day is on Wednesday, May 14th at 12:30.
There will also be a concession stand available for spectators, which will open at 12:00. All proceeds will go to help pay for students to compete at Nationals in Anaheim this summer.
