Poetry flowed well with RCHS as Haidyn Price finished 2nd and qualified for state. Final placings for seniors were Maelin Johnson and Olivia Rieke with 5th in duet and both girls also took oration to finals with Olivia placing 6th and Maelin 2nd. Solly Vanouhlden placed 5th in oration. Humorous solo saw Maelin placing 3rd and Julian Swank 2nd. Impromptu saw Olivia placing 3rd and Owen Doyle 2nd place. Prose placings were Ren Wright in 5th and Layna Canfield qualifying for state with 2nd place. It was a tough race in Improvised Duet Acting- as Haidyn and Julian placed 5th and Sam and Kylie placed 3rd. Thank you to Reinke Manufacturing for their continued support of the Republic County Robotics Team. Their support over the last two years has allowed the team to purchase materials to build a practice course and advanced tools to build the robots. This in turn has helped the team move on to Regional Competition this year. Their support of the Robotics team was featured in their recent newsletter, setting a great example of how community support makes a big difference in the classroom. Thank you to Reinke Manufacturing for your support of Republic County High School.

The Juniors snuck in a visit to Cloud County Community College on our way to the etiquette meal. They were the BEST DRESSED on campus today!
💙❤️🦬

Today the Junior class traveled to Rock Springs 4-H Center for an etiquette dinner. Pat Pesci, Professor Emeritus at Kansas State University, led the show today! Mr. Pesci has taught numerous etiquette courses for K-State’s athletic programs, as well as fraternities and sororities over the years. He lead RepCo students in setting the table, seating, passing food and drinks, gave tips on how to order, how to treat wait staff, and table manners. The food was great, the atmosphere was fun, we even got dressed up! A big thank you to the Republic County Community Foundation and everyone else who helped make this event possible!

This is a friendly reminder about my upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness event scheduled for this Saturday at 5:30 PM in the education room at Republic County Hospital. We are honored to have Dr. Hu, a distinguished oncologist from the University of Kansas Medical Center, who will join us via Zoom to share his expertise on breast cancer and address any questions from attendees.
We look forward to a meaningful and informative discussion. Please feel free to bring any questions or topics you would like Dr. Hu to address during the session. Lauren Eitzmann will be there as well to demonstrate how to do self-checks. Jessica Melton will be showing off the mammogram machine and scheduling women for mammograms.
See you there!
