Art students have been watching a caterpillar chrysalis the past few weeks... yesterday it hatched, and out came a monarch butterfly! We named her Butter, as she has a wing deformity, so she won't be able to fly. The kids have enjoyed learning about what she likes to eat and getting to see such an amazing transformation up close and personal. Little do they know this teachable moment is setting us up for one of Mrs. Strnad's favorite holidays, Dia de los Muertos! 🦋

The RCHS JV Football team traveled to Waterville-Blue Rapids to play the Valley Heights Mustangs Monday night. The Buffs led 12-6 at halftime and lead 20-6 after the 3Q. The Buffs had a late interception to secure the win and were going into score as time ran out- winning 26-12 in a very dominant performance, Go Buffs!
