RCHS JV Football loses to Lyons 0-20, Go Buffs!

RCHS JV Football at Lyons remains 0-8 at halftime, Go Buffs!

RCHS JV Football is in Lyons this morning playing football. Currently the 2nd quarter and the Buffs are down 0-8. Go Buffs!

The Republic County Buffs JV football team travels to Lyons on Monday, September 7th. Kickoff is at 10:00 am. Good luck, Buffs.

Some great collaboration happening out in the shop. Art room native plant, botanical study is in full swing! We collected plants earlier this week, brought them back to class to identify, and made castings of them today in class. 🌿 We are hoping to exhibit them next year as part of the RC Ag state fair display next year!

8th hour art is trying out a NEW class this year.... Cultural Craftworks. We started out the school year weaving. Check these out!

Junior High Buffaloes Volleyball Opening Night! What a great way to kick off the season on the road against the Minneapolis Lions! A Girls: Finished the night 2-0! Match 1: 22-25, 25-8, 17-15 Match 2: 25-18, 25-23 B Girls: Also finished the night 2-0! Match 1: 25-18, 22-25, 15-5 Match 2: 25-21, 18-25, 15-9 C Girls: Battled hard and finished 0-2 Match 1: 13-25, 12-25 Match 2: 10-25, 16-25 Go Buffs!!!

The Republic County High School Football team kicks off at 8:00 tonight versus the Lyons Lions.

The Booster Club tailgate meal will be served from 5:30-7:00 in the school cafeteria then moved outdoors to the concession stand.
The Little Buffs Cheer will be performing at the ball game tonight
The parking lot raffle winner will be announced at half time tonight.

Human Growth and Development students have been studying prenatal and infant care. They practiced getting baby buckled properly in a care seat. Culinary and the Baking & Pastry Class completed ServSafe testing and baked a mystery food. The students got a recipe with no name and had to follow the instructions to compete the food.

FCCLA officers attended the AIMS Leadership Conference in Manhattan. Students attended several workshops on Leadership.

The Junior High Volleyball and Football teams kick off their fall sports season on Thursday, September 3rd at Minneapolis.
JH Volleyball begins at 4:15 with squads playing on Court 1 (A, B, A) and Court 2 (B, C, C).
JH Football kickoff is at 7:00 pm.
