Junior Buffs theatre camp had a fantastic turnout with 11 students grades 5-9 joining us! We did a table read, auditioned, casted, and learned some improv games. What a great day 1! Don't miss our show on Friday, August 7th!

All 9th graders and new students are invited to attend orientation at Republic County Junior Senior High School in the cafeteria on Monday, August 10, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 PM. Parents are also encouraged to attend. There will be a club fair that evening so students will have the opportunity to explore ways to get involved in high school. Hope to see you all then!

All sophomores, juniors and seniors are invited to attend Dual Credit Night at RCJSHS Thursday night at 6:00 PM in the front flex room. Parents are encouraged to attend as well. You will gain some valuable information about taking college classes through Cloud County Community College while still in high school. Please plan to attend!

Reminder: Drivers Education starts tomorrow morning (Monday, June 29th) at 8:00 am 🕗. Class will be held in the flex room.
Lake Art Road Trip – Day 2
Today was all about slowing down, creating, and enjoying the simple things.
The kids started the morning with free time in the studio, fishing, and exploring around the lake before we headed off to learn about the art of weaving. We discovered how looms work, tried weaving ourselves, and some students even had the chance to spin wool into yarn. It was such a neat hands-on experience!
It was a hot Kansas day, so we cooled off at the local pool. I think our group may have doubled the population of the little town for the afternoon! 😆💦
Back at the lake, we fired up the grill for supper, then created nature weavings using treasures we found outside. As the evening slowed down, we learned how to play Chinese Checkers, gathered around the fire for s'mores, and ended the night watching the fireflies dance across the sky.
These trips are about so much more than making art. They're about trying new things, building friendships, appreciating small-town communities, and making memories that will last long after the week is over.
