Hannah Bowers has been a cheerleader for Republic County since her 7th grade year. She is a flyer for the cheer squad. After high school, she will be joining the dance team at Kansas Wesleyan. We wish her the best of luck. The senior cheerleaders will be recognized on Friday night between the varsity games.




Matayah is a three year member of the high school cheer squad. Her high energy and enthusiasm are valuable assets that greatly contribute to the team and enhance school spirit. Come out Friday night to support Matayah and the cheer squad as they bring the energy and cheer our teams on to victory!

Dakota is a four year member of the high school basketball team and has been playing since she was in third grade on the Republic County Youth Team. She is the point guard for the team and has been recognized on the tournament teams for both the pre-season basketball tournament and the Eli Walter mid-season tournament. Come watch Dakota and her team on Friday, February 20th at 6:00 pm.


Aden Morris is a four year member of the high school basketball team. Aden leads the team with his ball handling skills as one of the point guards. He along with his team has had a great season so far with a winning record. Come support Aden and the basketball team on their final home game on Friday, February 20th. Seniors will be recognized between varsity games.










Republic County High School Senior Cheerleader Spotlight: Ally Bombardier
Ally is a four year member of the high school cheer squad. She has been the team captain for two years and was awarded the 2025-2026 All American Cheerleader at UCA camp. Her positivity and leadership on the squad will be missed. Ally and the cheer squad will be performing during the boys halftime show on Friday night.

Republic County Girls Basketball Senior Spotlight: Tallyn Melton
Tallyn Melton is a four year member of the basketball team. She began playing when she was a third grader on the Republic County Youth Basketball team. She has a great senior year so far including tying the girls school record for the most 3-pointers (6 baskets for 18 points) made in a game , and has been recognized on the pre-season and Eli Walter mid-season tournament teams. Come support Tallyn and the Lady Buffs on their last home game of the regular season on Friday, February 20th at 6:00.






Dad Breakfast Thursday Evening from 6-7pm in the cafeteria. Buff Dads will be serving Pancakes, Sausage, Eggs, Fruit, and whatever else they can cook up. Students can get a great supper and then head to the Sweet Heart Pep Rally!
