A huge shout out to our transportation department and bus drivers on this School Transportation Appreciation Day as designated by the Governor. Thank you to these individuals for delivering our students to school, back home and to/from school activities each and every day.

-Boys start practice today after school. Parent meeting for boys will be at 5:45, Monday, October 25th at the high school in Mr. Erkenbracks room.
-Girls start practice tomorrow after school, they will be at East. Parent meeting for girls will be at 5:45 Monday, October 25th at the East Elementary Gym.

The final regular season high school volleyball games are this Tuesday, October 19 at Beloit! Games will all be in their high school gym and will begin at 4:00. The order of games will be C, Varsity, JV, Varsity. Good luck Lady Buffs!!

Mrs. Strnad’s 4th grade class has been learning about the economy and trading/ bartering. On Friday they spent time in the maker space working on the production of Lego cars making multiple vehicles with the groups.
Congrats to Coach Melton, Coach Heeger and the Republic County Jr Lady Buffs on placing 3rd at the league tournament!
Lady Jr Buffs win a nail biter in 3 sets to advance to the semi-finals of the League Tournament.
After a hard fought game, Buffs fall 12-14.
Buffs lead Atchison County 12-8 at half.

Parents of Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors!!
Salina Area Technical College is hosting 2 open houses specifically for high school students. These days are open to 10-12 grades. These days will be held November 10th or November 17th from 10am-2pm.
Activities for the days include program information, campus tours, program shadowing, a campus scavenger hunt, a free BBQ lunch and drawings for SATC items. All students who attend will also get a free T-shirt.
