Meet Miss April~
Painting by Brylee Judy, a senior at Republic County. I watched this student almost everyday in December, literally paint this tractor with a paint brush that had (not even kidding you) one bristle. What’s even more impressive, is she’s giving it away! We drew names for a Christmas art exchange in class. She made this piece based on a fellow student’s interests...tractors and women 🤣
This piece will be on display at the Dane Hansen Art Museum January 28-February 27th. If you are in Logan I encourage you to check out RepCo student’s work. You won’t be disappointed!!!
The RCHS forensics team hosted a fabulous tournament today attended by 11 area schools. We are excited to get started with our competitive season next Saturday after some much needed rest!
All 4 RCHS Wrestlers still wrestling on Day 2 at the 52nd Annual Beloit Invitational. Best of luck to all of you, this is still one of the premier small school tournaments in Kansas, Go Buffs!

RCHS Wrestlers taking on Thayer Central, NE in a dual tonight. Two very good teams providing some spirited action in the new gym.
RC art students are working on mastering our color mixing skills. Students were only allowed red, yellow, blue, burnt umber, & white paint. They complained while we were doing the exercise, but look how well they did!!! 😍😍😍

4th grade is learning about circuitry. Students are creating circuits in STEM to power different technology devices!
Kindergarten was hard at work today working on coding and robotics in STEM!
The 8th graders picked a great day for Poetry Cafe! We stayed inside where it was warm, read poetry, snapped our fingers, and drank hot chocolate and coffee!

Wrestling at Thayer Central has been added on Friday, January 21 with a 2:30 start time. Some wrestlers will still go to Beloit as well.
The Smith Center basketball game that was postponed on January 14 has been rescheduled for Monday, February 14 at Smith Center.
High school basketball on Tuesday, January 25 at Southeast-Saline time change-Girls JV will begin at 4:00, JV boys to follow. Varsity girls at 6:00, varsity boys to follow.
