Senior Night for RCHS Volleyball! We are very proud of you girls!


It's Senior Night! Seniors and their parents will be recognized before the final varsity game!

Sixth grade students are wrapping up their Hatchet novel study by creating dioramas. These will be on display at the Jr. High Wax Museum Tuesday, October 25.




It's that time of year again! Hearing and Vision screenings are coming up at USD 109. If you would like to opt your student out from these services, please stop by the school office and pick up a form. Screenings will begin in November.

Jr high basketball parent meetings are Thursday, October 20th at 5:30 pm. Girls will be at East Gym, boys will be in Mr. Erkenbrack’s classroom at RCJSHS.
Jr. High boys basketball practice will be from 3:30-4:15 today due to the home high school volleyball game.

Krispy Kreme donut pick up is tonight from 3:30-5:30 just north of the AG shop at RCHS. Please stop by and pick up your donuts if you ordered some from a junior. Thank you for supporting RCHS Prom!

The Cross Country runners have left Lakeside! We will plan to begin the pep rally around 8:15 in the high school gym! Don't forget we have a couple of special performances! Please join us to kick-off Homecoming!!!
This years ROAR Art Show in Russell,KS opens tomorrow. Republic County had 52 entries total, 28 of which were from the high school. This is a professional and amateur show. Ella Pachta placed first in photograph, with only three awards given in this category. Ella also placed on a honorable mention in ceramics. Congratulations, Ella!




It's Homecoming 2022 and we are getting "rowdy" at RCHS. Please join us tonight for the pep rally in the high school gym and bonfire to follow (south of the AG shop). We may have a special "surprise" from some of our varsity football players and some other very special guests! Time is TBA...we want to wait for the cross country team to get back. We are hoping to start around 8:00 PM. Another message will go out on social media when the cross country team leaves Lakeside.
RCHS Art Club will be providing FREE Face Painting before Friday’s Homecoming football game! Painting will start at 6:00pm by the Ag Shop!🏈 ❤️💙

Sixth grade STEM has been learning about the development of roller coasters, and asked to design a paper roller coaster that included a 90 degree turn.
