
Republic County Buffaloes REPRESENTED today at league forensics bringing home 2nd as a team, as well as three league champions with two events respectively. Champion titles were brandished by Erika Schultz in informative speaking, and Cassey Robertson and Jaycie Stindt in duet acting. In total, the buffaloes had 13 out of 15 events break into finals and received 8 top 3 finishes. Dylan McCartney finished 4th in poetry and 3rd in extemp speaking. With their individual events, Jaycie Stindt and Cassey Robertson placed 2nd and 3rd in humorous solo respectively. Promising freshman Olivia Rieke and Maelin Johnson brought home 2nd in improvised duet acting as well as individual placings of Maelin (4th in informative), and Olivia (6th in serious). New qualifications for state festival include Sarah Rieke, 3rd in prose, and Emma Hubert with 3rd in serious as well as 4th in prose. Sophia Rieke also broke into finals and finished 5th in poetry. We had students break into finals for the first time today, and brought home our first team title for the season. Thank you buffaloes! 🦬❤️💙

The Jr. High Track Meet scheduled for tomorrow at Smith Center has been cancelled due to the wind/weather. Jr. high track will have practice tomorrow. Coaches will give out more information at practice today!

RCHS Seniors of 2022 have been putting the finishing touches on their senior projects the last month. On Thursday, April 7, in the high school gym from 6:30-8:00 the seniors invite all to attend an open house where the seniors will show the public their diverse and complex projects. It’s a come-and-go and stay as long as you like event. Sure hope to see many of you there.




As part of our Junior “Life Hacks” seminar unit, we are exploring cooking. Today we introduced the air fryer... tomorrow crock pots and pressure cookers. In STEM, 3rd grade created a LEGO robotic helicopter to learn how helicopters can help during natural disasters! 🚁 Students had to save a panda from a wild fire and drop supplies to houses!





Special shoutout to Brody Boyer and Blake Aurand for being selected and participating in the Thunderbird All-Star Invitational today. They both represented Republic County Basketball well, we are so proud of their achievements. Seeing these two share the floor for the final time was bittersweet. Go Buffs!
